Red Coach Inn Newton

Hotel was outdated and give you an uneasy feeling pulling up. Office Staff was friendly, however not up front about the hot tub. Even after asking about it when we called to get reservation. Rooms were clean and we'll maintained, efficiently stocked. Arcade was fine, office staff pulled out 5he ping pong paddles for us and everything. Pool- was Not heated as advertised. However office staff were keeping it clean. Maid service spoke no English so it was difficult to communicate.

What a lovely surprise we had in our journey. We had traveled from Bozeman MT and had stopped at other hotels enroute, both major brands and locals. This was by far our best experience. The room was perfect for us. We were traveling with an elderly dog (15 years old) and needed a room easily accessible to an area to take her for a walk. The room faced directly to the immediately adjacent parking and allowed us to bring in suitcases easily. We are both physically handicapped and we found the accommodations just what we needed. It was a NON-SMOKING room which I loved since I am allergic to tobacco smoke. We had multiple interactions with the front desk person because of our personal needs and you could never find a more gentle and accommodating person. He was always and helped us in multiple ways. I plan to visit Newton KS again in the future and will always plan to stay at the Red Coach Inn. A Braums Restaurant is immediately adjacent to the motel. Great ice cream treats and hamburgers. The room was well appointed, clean, and fresh. Compared with the national brand hotels in which we stayed on this long trip, this was by far the best experience. On this trip from Montana to Texas, we had stayed at national brand motels which were highly visible and advertised, and with higher prices, and experienced non-working TVs and telephones disconnected, and horrible access for handicapped persons. Red Coach Inn was a superior stay for us. Thank you for being there for us.

Original reason I started staying here was because inn was halfway between my place in Colorado and family in Arkansas. That was over 15 years ago. Great place Conveniently located, perfect for me and my traveling dog, great price, amenities, and a wonderful owner who remembers me and always asks how my Mom is doing. I will always stay here if they have a place for me. Only missed staying during the COVID years. Will always stop here.

My hubby is a hot shot driver. I go with him. We stay in alot of motels. This one was easy to get to very clean and the people were awesome. It was a little higher than we usually pay but was worth it. If your ever through there it's worth the stay.

Pleasantly surprised. Nice place has had some updates. Our rooms were spacious and clean. Pool was ok disappointed hot tube is permanently closed. It was nice to have the rec room areas to just hang out while the kids were swimming. Breakfast was good too. Would stay here again.

We showed up early to see if we check in sooner than expected and got right in. Friendly staff which create a personal touch and remembers you. Rooms are a bit dated, but very clean, comfy bed and pillows, and a quiet A/C. Overall very comfortable stay. It’s also very quiet. We also didnt have any issues with noisy neighboring rooms or doors slamming all night which I feel are almost impossible to avoid in a hotel room. The place neighbors a Braum’s that’s a great option for breakfast. Don’t be deterred by the exterior of the facility. Will definitely be back if we’re ever back in Newton.

I was very impressed when I went in the room and all was clean and modern. This is an old hotel with the outside entrance but a very professional modernization brings it into this century with all the amenities of a new hotel. Bathrooms and sheets are extremely clean. Highly recommend! This is the best bang for the buck in Newton. The only thing I would change would be the number of electrical plugs (only have 4 total).

Very well kept. Pool is clean. Right amount of chlorine in the pool. Breakfast was as good as you can expect a continental breakfast to be. Functioning arcade. Pool and ping pong tables. A lot of widows. Flat screen TV in your room. Only complaint I have is that the bed sheets are not enough for two people, who are not spooning, to share.
